Michael focuses his practice on tax planning and diligence, property reassessment, business reorganizations, and general business planning, including for real estate investors. He received an MBA after undergraduate studies, focusing on business matters including accounting and finance. After obtaining his law degree at USD, he furthered his education with a Master of Law, LL.M. degree, at USD, focusing exclusively on a specialty in tax law. Michael’s credentials include experience working in both state and federal politics, including at the Nevada Legislature as well as U.S. Senate while living in Washington, D.C., where he worked on the Hill with elected officials regarding tax legislation. Michael is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court and the United States Tax court. He is also a member of the San Diego County Bar Association’s Section for Taxation.
